College Visit to Black Hills State University!

Yesterday, our Tasunke Witko Owayawa students had the opportunity to visit Black Hills State University! Students toured the campus, explored college opportunities, and experienced firsthand what life after high school can look like.

We are proud to provide experiences that encourage our students to dream big, explore their options, and see the possibilities ahead of them.

Senior Sunrise | Class of 2027

Our NYCP staff put on a special Senior Sunrise for the Class of 2027!

Our seniors gathered together around the bonfire to enjoy s’mores, hot cocoa, fresh breakfast burritos, and cinnamon rolls while watching the sunrise. The morning also included prayer and song, followed by a meaningful conversation where students shared their hopes, dreams, and goals for senior year and beyond.

A great way to begin their final year together and create memories that will last long after graduation.

Thank you to our NYCP staff and everyone who helped make this special morning possible for our seniors!

Due to the continued high temperatures, students will be dismissed early for the remainder of the week.

Elementary Students: 1:30 PM
MS/HS Students: 2:00 PM

Temperatures inside our buses can be much hotter than the outside temperature. Early dismissal will help keep our students safe during this time.

High School Volleyball will still travel to Mahpiya Luta today for their game at 5:00 PM.

Due to the heat, Crazy Horse School will have an early release today. Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM, and Middle School/High School students will be dismissed at 2:00 PM.
