Flat Kayden was at the Chiefs game today in Kansas City Missouri.
The two people pictured are the owners of Gail's Harley Davidson in Kansas City. They were kind enough to invite us to the game.

Kansas City people love their Chiefs and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Kansas City is also known for small business owners and they provide jobs for a lot of people.

Flat Nora arrived in Colorado and immediately took a trip to Estes Park Colorado along with Nora’s Uncle Tom. While in Estes Park, Flat Nora visited a Ferrellgas Propane Plant. Estes Park is a lively small town nestled at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. One of the best known attractions is the century old Stanley Hotel (any relation to Stanley?). The hotel is said to be haunted by previous guests! One special attraction in Estes Park is a local herd of majestic elk that roam around the town on many days. During the winter months, snowfall is the theme of the day.
Before leaving, Flat Norathen visited Castle Rock, CO. setting at an elevation of 6210 feet; it is over a mile high. It is also near Denver, CO. With a higher than the national average, with days of sunshine it provides a great environment for hiking and close access to winter skiing and snowshoeing all winter long. One of Castle Rock’s most defining identity characteristics is the actual Castle Rock that stands sentinel over the city.

Lydia Howard sent this post to us about the travels of Flat Shaela!
Flat Shaela has had a lot of fun helping on the homestead in the Rocky Mountains. We got to visit a zoo on a mountain and helped the zookeepers feed lots of animals. Can wait to send her pictures to the class! Here we are learning about Nile hippos, wow they have big teeth! But soon Flat Shaela will be on her way to Washington DC and then to Alaska before coming back to class. Thanks for letting her vacation with us, we had a lot of fun!
