Milestones Day School and Transition Program Accredited private school providing a therapeutic education for students ages 5-22

Milestones students are a group of eclectic learners; no two students have the exact same profile. Milestones staff are proficient at using multi modality teaching to educate students. Staff may take a lesson and teach orally, visually, and kinetistically making lessons spring to life for the ultimate presentation of material. It’s not uncommon to see our students taking a hike through our conservation land to bring a science lesson to life or sculpt a model of DNA. All high school student have science lab at least once per week to reinforce what they are learning and experiment in our high technology laboratory.

🌟 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌟 first trip of the year

Our students are taking their learning into the community through Community-Based Instruction (CBI)! 💙

CBI provides meaningful opportunities for students to practice important skills in real-world settings—from shopping and ordering at restaurants to navigating community spaces, practicing safety skills, and building independence.

These experiences help students connect classroom learning to everyday life while developing confidence, communication, problem-solving, and independence. 🛒🍽️📚🚌
