Bentley Speech and Debate Society - BSDS

Bentley Speech & Debate Society is a unique organization on Bentley's campus. BSDS also hosts events each semester. Every fall we also sponsor a Republican vs.

BSDS offers students a platform to engage in academic, political, social, and competitive debate to enhance their speaking abilities with a persuasive and competitive edge, emphasizing integrity and excellence for future business professionals. We have general body meetings every other Monday at 9:15pm in Student Center room 353 for students interested in learning more about public speaking. We al

so have a competitive debate team which meets every Tuesday at 7pm in Student Center room 353 for those interested in traveling to area colleges to compete against other schools in formal debate tournaments. Including speaking workshops and political round tables. Democrats debate with the Bentley Republicans and Bentley Democrats organizations. We invite everyone to attend our meetings. No experience is necessary to participate in any of our activities! BSDS EBoard:

Over the years, Dylan has been a constant part of BSDS’s growth, taking on the roles of Freshman Liaison, Treasurer, Vice President, President, and Senior Advisor. Through every position, he brought dedication, leadership, and a genuine commitment to making this team stronger.
