PARENTS & CAREGIVERS! Have a child in need of a backpack/supplies for the upcoming school year? Waltham Salvation Army is holding their annual back-to-school giveaway event on Monday, August 10th! All Individuals & athletes with developmental disabilities aged 5+ are invited to join in what will be an inclusive day of fun games, activities, music, food and much more! All abilities are welcome. Bedford Post-Secondary Night Focused on Student Support Services

Bedford High School is pleased to announce an upcoming Post-Secondary Planning Night designed to support students and families as they explore college options and transition planning. This event will focus specifically on the services and accommodations available for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.

Representatives from a wide range of colleges and universities will be in attendance to share information about their disability support services, academic resources, and campus-based programs that help students succeed in higher education. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with admissions and support staff, ask questions, and learn about the differences in services from high school to college.

This event is an excellent opportunity for students and families to gain a clearer understanding of post-secondary expectations, available supports, and how to advocate for accommodations in a college setting.
