CALLING ALL BRANDEIS ARTISTS AND CREATIVES

Ready to take the stage or work behind the scenes? Perform and work with us at the Brandeis Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts, a continuous 24-hour celebration of student creativity running from Saturday, October 17 at 6:00pm through Sunday, October 18 at 6:00pm at Brandeis University.

We are welcoming all forms of expression, including musicians, dancers, poets, theater groups, and performance artists for our evening & late night performance slots. We are also hiring paid Videographers, as well as Sound & Lighting Technicians to help bring the weekend to life.

Priority will be given to current Brandeis students, though Brandeis Alumni are also strongly encouraged to apply!

IT'S TIME!

Join us for the Festival of the Arts this weekend, concluding with the Art Never Sleeps Reception on the Spingold Front Lawn this Sunday, April 19, at 4:00 PM. We're in for a fantastic evening with local food trucks and live performances from the Jazz Combo and Klezmer Band.

At 4:00 PM in the Dreitzer Gallery (located in the Spingold Lobby, right next to the lawn), join artist Ceci Xilei Chen for Tea for Absent. This social practice ritual offers a space to sit, sip, and honor the women who shaped our lives. Participants may select a handmade ceramic cup from the artist’s collection to take home as a vessel for the memories shared.

The Alumni Art Gallery is pleased to present "Only Us," a solo exhibition by award-winning filmmaker and photographer Eric Neudel ’69, as part of the 2026 Festival of the Creative Arts.

Drawing from decades of documentary work for PBS across Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Americas, Neudel’s photography explores the philosophy that "there is no other in humanity—only us." The collection features vibrant imagery that highlights a universal human experience defined by compassion and resilience.

Eric Neudel is a distinguished documentarian known for his contributions to "Eyes on the Prize" and "Vietnam: A Television History." His 2021 award-winning film, "The Wake Up Call," examines the human cost of conflict.

Join us at 4:30 pm on Saturday 4/18 to meet the artist and enjoy light refreshments.

In coordination with the festival theme, "Art Never Sleeps," the gallery will remain open for viewing until 9:00 pm for the night owls! 🦉💙

You are invited to “Celebrating Graduates in the Creative Arts '26” hosted by the Division of Creative Arts. All graduating students with a major or minor in Art History, Architecture, Music, Studio Art, Theater, a graduate degree in Music, and related IIM degrees are welcome to attend with their family and friends.

We are so proud and excited to celebrate your graduation from Brandeis University this spring/summer. For those of you who graduated during the fall semester, we hope you’ll consider returning to campus to celebrate with us.

IT’S TIME 🎉

Our RSVP form is now LIVE for the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts!

Introducing ART NEVER SLEEPS. This 24-hour marathon kicks off at 6 PM on April 18 and runs through 6 PM on April 19, featuring nonstop exhibitions, performances, and guest sets.

Campus will transform into a lively artistic village - stop by for overnight stage performances, the annual SunDeis Film Festival, departmental theater and music showcases… or stay for it all. :)

Food trucks & snacks will be available throughout the festival to keep you fueled all night long.

Art never sleeps… and neither will campus from 6PM 4/18 to 6PM 4/19 ✨

The Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts is back for 24 hours of student showcases, guest performances, galleries, exhibitions, musicals, and more - plus food trucks across campus. We'll begin outdoors on the Great Lawn for a series of performances!

Our slogan this year is "ART NEVER SLEEPS" - named not only after the 24 hour marathon style of the fest, but also our belief that art is present in even the darkest and quietest of times.

The first 25 people to register when the RSVP drops will receive a limited-edition Festival poster. Save the dates and keep your notifications ON! The full schedule and RSVP link are dropping soon.

(And yes, it really is 24 hours! Sleep block will be included from 2am-8am) :)
