WALTHAM — WE’RE HITTING THE STREETS! 🎃💙

Step By Step Dance Studio is excited to be participating in the **Waltham Halloween Parade** on Saturday, October 24 at 3:00 PM!

Our dancers will be trading the studio floor for the streets of Waltham as we bring our Halloween Masquerade to the parade!

Expect lots of Step By Step spirit, some Halloween fun, plenty of royal blue — and, of course, DANCING!

We would LOVE to see our studio families, alumni, friends and neighbors along the parade route cheering on our dancers as we make our way through the city.

📅 Saturday, October 24
⏰Parade begins at 3:00 PM

Keep an eye out for the Step By Step Dance Studio banner and come cheer us on! 💙🖤🤍

We can’t wait to be part of this Waltham tradition.

Has your little one been asking to try ballet? 🩰

You don't have to commit to an entire dance season to let them experience it.

Once Upon a Tutu is our magical 6-week introduction to ballet created especially for preschoolers ages 3–5 who are not yet in Kindergarten.

For six weeks, our littlest dancers will explore ballet basics through music, movement, imagination and play — giving them the opportunity to experience a real dance class, build confidence and discover whether ballet is something they love.

And, of course, every little ballerina needs a tutu…

A TUTU IS INCLUDED with registration — and it's theirs to keep! 🩰

Fridays | 5:15–5:45 PM
October 9–November 13
Ages 3–5 | Preschoolers
6 weeks | $135

No dance experience needed.
No full-season commitment.
Just six weeks to twirl, imagine and discover ballet. 💙

Registration is open now at stepbystepinc.com.

BRING A FRIEND WEEK IS COMING! 💙

Sharing dance is even more fun with a friend! From Saturday, October 3 through Friday, October 9, Step By Step dancers are invited to bring one friend to participate in class and experience what dancing at Step By Step is all about.

And there’s a little something extra for our dancers this year! Every dancer who brings a friend will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE FULL-PAGE AD in our 2027 Recital Program — a $100 value! Create your own page using your favorite photos and a special message.

Planning to bring a friend? Here’s what you need to know:

• Friends should be close in age to the class they are attending.
• Friends should wear comfortable clothing they can move in. Dance shoes are welcome if they have them; otherwise, athletic sneakers or bare feet are perfectly fine, depending on the class.
• Friends are coming to participate in class, not simply observe.
• A parent or legal guardian must sign a participation waiver before the friend may enter the classroom.
• Please let the office know in advance if your dancer plans to bring a friend so we can prepare for our guests.

We can’t wait to welcome some new faces into the studio and let our dancers share something they love with someone they love spending time with.

What if they didn't have to choose just ONE kind of dance?

Introducing DANCE LAB — a six-week experience created for dancers in Grades 3–5 who want to explore, experiment and discover more about how they move.

Each week brings something completely different:

Floor & Flow — flexibility, mobility and body awareness
At the Barre — ballet technique, posture and balance
Turn It Up — turns, jumps, kicks and coordination
Find Your Groove — rhythm, musicality and dynamics
Tell the Story — expression, character and storytelling through movement
Create It! — dancers bring everything together and create choreography of their own

It's part training, part exploration and part creativity — without committing to a full dance season.

Mondays | 5:00–5:45 PM
October 19–November 23
Grades 3–5 | Ages 9–11
6 weeks | $159

And every dancer receives their own stretch band to use during the program and keep!

No registration fee. No full-season commitment.

Just six weeks to TRY IT. TRAIN IT. CREATE IT.

Registration is open now. Scan the QR code or visit stepbystepinc.com.
