What an amazing evening! Our Color & Connect Family Night was filled with creativity, conversation, laughter, and meaningful connections. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our families who joined us and helped make the event such a success!
Families enjoyed painting, refreshments, and meaningful conversations about supporting their children and strengthening the connection between home and school.

A special thank you to Truist Bank and the South Carolina Office of Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities for joining us and sharing valuable information and resources with our families. We truly appreciate your partnership!

Did you miss Color & Connect? Don’t worry! Join us on September 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM for Reading Together: Building Strong Readers at Home. We’ll share practical ways to support your child’s reading at home, and, of course, we’ll have a fun, hands-on family activity to go along with it! Be on the lookout for the flyer and registration, which are coming soon.

First Two Days of School and Dismissal

We will begin the dismissal process a few minutes earlier on the first two days of school, Monday and Tuesday. During the first two days of school, dismissal goes a little slower due to making sure we are getting students to the correct areas for dismissal and to ensure traffic doesn't back up on Sidney's Road. Dismissal will begin at 2:00 pm.

This does not mean parents need to line up any earlier in the car rider line as there is always a line by 2:00 pm in the afternoon. For the bus, you will be able to track your child's dismissal route by using the My Ride K-12 app to see the time your child will be dropped off.
