Test it Tuesday! You should test you smoke alarms weekly and replace the batteries every six months. A good way to remember to change the batteries, before the chirp🥴, is when the time changes. "Change your Clocks, Change your Batteries!"

🗣️ Talk Tip Tuesday 💙

Sometimes the most powerful part of a conversation is listening.

When your child is talking, pause, make eye contact, and give them time to finish their thoughts. Children learn that their words matter when they know someone is truly listening.

❤️ A few minutes of focused conversation each day helps build language, confidence, and strong connections.

Every child has something to say—let’s make sure they know they’re being heard.

It’s Friday!! That means family time is almost here !!
What will your family do together this weekend? Why not make time for one simple family tradition?

It could be:
📚 Reading a favorite book together
🍎 Sharing a picnic or family meal
🌳 Taking a walk and looking for things in nature
🎲 Playing a favorite game
💃 Having a living room dance party

The activity doesn’t have to be elaborate—the time you spend together is what matters most❤️!

💚 Wellness Wednesday 😊

Big feelings are a normal part of growing up!

Help your child learn to recognize and express their emotions by talking about them throughout the day.

Try saying:
💛 “You look excited!”
💙 “It’s okay to feel frustrated.”
💚 “I’m proud of how you calmed your body.”

When children learn the words for their feelings, they’re better able to communicate, solve problems, and build healthy relationships.

🗣️ Talk Tip Tuesday 💙

Turn everyday moments into conversations!

Instead of asking questions with a simple “yes” or “no” answer, try asking:
💬 “What do you think will happen next?”
💬 “Can you tell me about your picture?”
💬 “How did you build that?”

Open-ended questions encourage children to think, talk, and build their language skills.

❤️ Every conversation is a chance to learn!
