Ms. Ogutu took a few minutes to complete and submit her survey following our recent Professional Development Day, and her name was randomly selected.

What an amazing evening! Our Color & Connect Family Night was filled with creativity, conversation, laughter, and meaningful connections. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our families who joined us and helped make the event such a success!
Families enjoyed painting, refreshments, and meaningful conversations about supporting their children and strengthening the connection between home and school.

A special thank you to Truist Bank and the South Carolina Office of Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities for joining us and sharing valuable information and resources with our families. We truly appreciate your partnership!

Several Colleton County School District teachers participated in a 3-day professional development on July 7-9, 2026, facilitated by a Savvas SIOP® Certified Consultant. SIOP® (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) training is a research-based professional development program designed to help educators teach grade-level content effectively to English learners and multilingual students. It pairs rigorous academic instruction with targeted language development.
