We are so happy to welcome Mr. Mike Jones as our new Music teacher! He brings years of experience and a lot of energy and excitement to the role - it's going to be an amazing year!

Dear BSS Community,
I am excited to join the BSS community and bring over 25 years of teaching experience to the classroom. Most recently, I taught music at Saint Bernadette School in Northborough, Massachusetts. In addition to teaching, I perform regularly with the Copley Singers and serve as Music Director for the Dover Foundation, where I had the pleasure of conducting the pit orchestra for Fiddler on the Roof last spring. This summer I am music directing the musical, 1776, for the Dover-Sherborn Summer Drama Program with middle and high school students.

Besides singing, I play the piano, drums, and recorder. I am a certified Orff specialist who is passionate about creating engaging, joyful musical experiences for students. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education from the University of North Texas, and my Master of Music Education from the Boston Conservatory. Outside of music, I enjoy gardening, traveling, watching the Revs, and spending time with my family on Cape Cod. I look forward to sharing my love of music and getting to know the students and families in our school community.

Dear BSS Community,

I am so excited to officially be stepping into the role of Lead Preschool Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School this fall!

While I’ve been working at Blessed Sacrament for the past five years, my connection to this incredible community began even earlier. In 2019, my two boys started their journey at BSS, with my youngest beginning in the preschool program. As a parent, I quickly fell in love with the school’s faith-filled, welcoming community.

To now have the opportunity to lead a preschool classroom at the very school that has meant so much to my family is incredibly special, and I can’t wait to welcome a new group of little learners this fall.

My name is Colleen O’Shea, and I am very excited to be joining the Blessed Sacrament community! I have been working in Catholic schools in the Boston area for the past seven years, teaching social studies at both the middle and high school levels. I love continuing to learn about the past and exploring cultures around the world. This summer, I was able to travel to the Baltics,
which included a visit to the medieval city wall in Tallinn, Estonia.
