Once again, we were thrilled to have podcaster/writer/assistant Sona Movsesian as our Alumna of the Year. We had a blast celebrating with her, showing her around campus, and watching her interact with current students. Thanks for everything, Sona!

2023 Mt SAC Alumnus of the Year Sona Movsesian

The Mt. SAC Foundation and Alumni Association has been celebrating Sona Movsesian, our 2023 Alumna of the Year, all semester. She met with the current Forensics Team, served as the keynote speaker for the Honors Program year-end celebration, was part of the Forensics alumni reunion and invited on the Mt. SAC podcast. All of this led up to her award and speech at Commencement. Thank you for sharing your experience, laughter and joy with the community!

The Mt. SAC Foundation Scholarship is a need-based scholarship funded by the collective support of the community. Give to this scholarship to support students like Emma Lopez who are hard-working, dedicated, and committed to their dreams—dreams that will lift up the whole community. The scholarship ceremony is a great time to recognize the scholarship support that happens all year long at Mt. SAC. For the 2023-24 academic year, thanks to the generous Mt. SAC donor community, we’re distributing $570,000 across more than 200 scholarships.
