Get ready to walk, roll, and have some fun!

Join the Cougar Community for Walk or Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 8th. Start your morning with fresh air, friends, and movement—whether you ride in a bike group, join a walking train, or just stroll with neighbors.

And the fun doesn’t stop when you arrive! Every student who participates will collect prizes and a raffle ticket for a chance to win awesome grand prizes. It’s a celebration of healthy habits and community spirit—don’t miss it!

Walk Groups Meet at 8:35 AM:

• Walnut Blvd. & McConnell Lane

• Walnut Blvd. & Fraser Drive

Parent volunteers will be there to walk with students.

Safety First!

1. Use the four pedestrian crosswalks along Walnut Blvd. Street parking is available on Fraser, Sutherland, McConnell, and Terra Bella.

2. Always walk or ride on sidewalks and enter campus along the school fencing—please avoid the parking lot entrances.

3. Bikers: wear helmets, signal before passing, and lock up at the bike racks.

Let’s make this a fun, safe, and active day for everyone!

Hi Walnut Heights Community! Our school Green Team is up and running. The students are busy sorting trash and learning about how to help out our environment.

When you are on campus you may notice our trash bin set up! All bins are labeled compost, recycling and landfill. We also have a Terracycle box for snack wrapper recycling. If you are not sure where something goes ask a student for help! Walnut Heights earns a $1000 grant for reducing our landfill waste!
