The past week has been full of meetings, brainstorming, and classroom prep as our faculty and staff get ready to welcome students tomorrow!

As we begin implementing Teaching for Transformation, a framework that helps students connect their learning directly to their faith and purpose, our teachers spent time dreaming. They shared their "what ifs" and hopes for what could happen in their classrooms as we embark on this new journey.

We can't wait for everything this school year holds!

Join us at our Kick Off Celebration this afternoon! Families can take school photos, meet teachers, drop off supplies, attend orientations and submit forms. New this year: All Middle and High School families will have the chance to meet teachers following their daily class schedule! Students can pick up their schedules beforehand. See the timing to follow.

Our high school student council leadership retreat in Santa Cruz was a success. In just two days, they focused on team building, planning out the year, and even tried out several new games for future events. They got a lot done in a short amount of time and are looking forward to a fun year ahead!

Last week at Camp Cougar, the theme was all about video games. Campers spent the week designing and decorating their own racing karts crafted from packing boxes. Everything culminated in an epic, Mario Kart-style race on the final day, complete with strategically placed bananas and bombs. It was the perfect way to bring their favorite games to life.

Our summer preschool crew had the best time cooling off at water day! They kicked it off with popsicles and then hit the playground where they splashed in the pools, had water blaster battles, ran through the sprinkler, and chased endless bubbles.

Our high school women’s basketball team had the opportunity to dust off their uniforms to compete in a tournament this past weekend! They had a great time in the short, fast-paced games with hockey-style subbing. An extra special thanks to a few amazing alumni for stepping up as subs, and bringing that veteran Cougar energy to the team!

Camp Cougar is officially underway this week!
Yesterday was Wet Wednesday, which meant breaking out the giant water slide to beat the heat. And they’re just getting started—plenty more good times ahead in the next few weeks!

Last Saturday our graduating seniors were honored in a beautiful commencement ceremony that celebrated both their achievements and their journey. We congratulated our CSF Life Members for their academic excellence and recognized our “CCC Lifers”—students who have been with us since kindergarten or earlier.

After speeches from the salutatorian and valedictorian, commencement speaker, Mrs. Grenz, addressed the graduating class, focusing on resiliency as they begin this next chapter. The celebration wrapped up with a memorable benediction sung by our staff and faculty, offering a beautiful send-off to the Class of 2026.
