Stanford research confirms that bilingual education is best for long-term English fluency. Research pointed to this 20 years ago when I was earning my teaching credential. English learners start out behind their native English-speaking peers in early years but then catch up and SURPASS them in later years.

I am enjoying going to Concordia Montessori School to work with two students. The Montessori philosophy of hands-on activities and developmentally appropriate instruction are a great match to my teaching philosophy and strategies.
