In search of a working student age 16+ who has some prior experience working with horses. We are a Western pleasure and horsemanship focused riding facility. You would be expected to know how to safely handle a horse on the ground, groom, tack, and have an interest in teaching people of all ages.
You will receive one on one instruction from your employer and other instructors to further your education.
Job description: teaching students of all ages and capabilities the essentials of horseback riding, working on your feet 4-6 hours a day, grooming, walking, ground working, or mucking, supplementing etc. We have approx. 30 horses located on our family owned property. The head trainer would work closely with you to get you up to speed and teach you everything you need to know to perform. Prefer working student. Open to discussing salary/wage.
