Berean Christian High School Berean Christian High School is dedicated to providing a quality, Bible-centered education to develop lifetime followers of Christ.

We have served the East Bay Area since 1969. Berean Christian students and families enjoy a beautiful 6.3 acre campus with 5 major buildings. Berean provides 20 varsity athletic teams where at least 2/3 of students participate on at least one athletic team. There are 3 select vocal groups and other beginning music classes. Teachers regularly use computers and support applications in all academic classes. The entire campus is fully networked and teachers, faculty and staff maintain e-mail accounts. Computers are provided for general student use in the Library. All computers are provided with filtered Internet access, printer accessibility, and application software. Berean believes that 21st century technological literacy is essential for future success in college as well as the world of work. The school has invested in providing each student with an IPad along with the needed applications and e-books that has enhanced the students' technological competence and has facilitated learning. Berean Christian High School utilizes RENweb.com, a school management software that allows parents and students internet access to information associated with classroom activities. We have found tremendous value associated with the use of this service which facilitates a secure link between parents and teachers, thus enabling a more cooperative relationship. Additionally, the school maintains a comprehensive web site as a tool of communication to all constituency. Graduates attend Christian and secular colleges and universities all over the country.

At our school of 400 students, 288 AP exams were taken in 2026. Berean students earned an overall pass rate of 85%, compared to the national average of 73.7. While having several perfect pass rates in core subjects, we had 90% and above in nine subjects. Congratulations to our students and teachers! Yesterday, nearly 500 students, faculty, and parent chaperones headed off for All School Retreat 2026!

For 58 years, All School Retreat has been a treasured tradition in our Eagle community—a time to step away together for three days, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, grow closer as a community, and praise and worship our Lord.

This year’s theme is “Set Your Mind on Things Above,” inspired by Colossians 3:2. What a meaningful way to begin the school year: centered on Christ, strengthening friendships, building community, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Here are just a few glimpses from Day One, filled with fun class competitions, a special message from our speaker, Pastor Joe Little, and a powerful time of worship together.

What a wonderful first day! We are grateful for this special tradition and excited for all that God has in store for our Eagles during All School Retreat 2026.

Introducing a new addition to the Berean brand.
Our new full-body Eagle expands on the identity that has represented Berean for years. Built from the same eagle head logo, this mark gives us greater flexibility for athletics, apparel, merchandise, and school branding while staying true to who we are.

The new Eagle is an addition to our visual identity. Together with our existing logos, it gives us more ways to represent Berean with consistency and school pride.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a beloved member of the Berean Christian High School family, Robert “Bob” Nass, who went home to be with his Creator over the weekend.
For more than 20 years, Bob faithfully served as a Berean bus driver. To countless students and families, he was far more than the person behind the wheel—he was a kind, dependable, and godly man whose warm smile and caring presence made a lasting difference. His faithful service and love for others were a beautiful reflection of his faith.

Bob’s wife, Katherine Nass, also served the Berean community for many years as a member of the School Board. Together, Bob and Katherine have been a treasured part of the Berean family. Their five children are all Berean graduates: Robert ’96, Bethany ’98, Kristianna ’00, Annalisa ’03, and Julianna ’05.

Bob and Katherine retired this year and moved to Spokane, Washington, to be near their children. Although we are deeply saddened by his passing, we rejoice in the hope that Bob is now at home with his Lord and Savior.

Please join us in praying for Katherine, their children, grandchildren, and the entire Nass family. Bob’s faithful legacy will continue to live on in the many lives he touched, and he will always hold a special place in the heart of Berean Christian High School.

We’re putting the finishing touches on this summer’s construction projects! The student center and classrooms are coming together, and we’re looking forward to welcoming students into these new spaces in just a few weeks!

We are so excited to begin our summer renovations! There are so many exciting changes coming to campus this summer, including a new Science lab and classroom, refreshed Economics, Government, and Math classrooms, and an updated Computer Lab classroom.

We are also looking forward to the Student Center renovation as we finally remove the poles from the center of the room and update our Eagle Eats storefront.
