My Spanish Village childcare center, is designed to be a unique and special place where children can freely explore, learn and be happy. We have developed our own Spanish immersion program, where all instruction is in Spanish, with a daily age appropriate curriculum, based on a strong belief that a bilingual education is both possible and enjoyable, when approached with enthusiasm, energy and a fun attitude. All teachers have experience from their native Spanish speaking countries, as well as the necessary ECE (Early Childhood Education) credentials needed to work in the State of California. Classes are kept small to ensure that each student gets the attention he or she deserves in a fully immersed program. Academics are designed to teach real skills, with the ultimate goal of instilling basic reading, writing and math skills by age 4. Founded in July 2006, My Spanish Village began as a small family daycare site in Walnut Creek. The operation expanded the following year into a large family daycare, and since August 2009 we have been leasing the preschool facility at St. My Spanish Village is licensed to have a maximum capacity of 52 students in attendance at any given time – always in an environment of Real Spanish, Real Immersion, and Real Academics.
