Announcing our Fall Studio Kickoff Events! 🍂🎶

Join us on Sunday, August 30 at 11am ET for “Perfect Your Practice”, a special pop-up class with Megan Fleischmann! In this class you’ll learn how to take your practice sessions to the next level: work more efficiently, make the most of your time, and build habits that support consistent growth.

Immediately following class, at 12pm ET we will hold our first studio-wide Open Mic of the school year! This event will be a fantastic way to start off the year together as a studio. Share a favorite song you’ve been singing this summer, or get a head start on audition season by performing a piece you’re preparing.

A Summer Postcard from Emersyn! 🎤🩰

This summer, Emersyn attended the Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts Pre-College Summer Intensive. The Norwalk Conservatory program is a prestigious two-week musical theater training program that accepts just 16 high school students per session.

During their time at the conservatory, students train with Broadway and industry professionals in intensive workshops, classes, and rehearsals. They work closely with college conservatory instructors and guest artists on musical theater dance styles, singing, acting and more. The conservatory also offers the incredible opportunity for high schoolers to network with Broadway agents and casting directors.

We are thrilled that Emersyn was selected for this incredible opportunity. You’re a star, Emersyn! ⭐️

A Summer Postcard from Ginger! 🎶🎭

This summer, Ginger performed in “Hello Dolly” at StageDoor Manor! StageDoor Manor is a prestigious summer performing arts camp where young performers work alongside seasoned professionals to bring 14 full-scale productions to life!

Ginger was the youngest performer chosen to perform in Hello Dolly this summer. Despite being the youngest person on the stage, her work stood out! At the end of camp, Ginger received an award for her exceptional work as an ensemble member! It sounds like Ginger had an incredible summer, we are so proud of all she accomplished and are thrilled that her excellent work received recognition from faculty. Way to go Ginger! 🌟

Young Artists of America just wrapped up their summer performances of Catch Me if You Can at the Clarice Performing Arts Center! This July, our singers attended an intensive summer performance program and prepared a fully staged production in just two weeks. In that short period of time, our singers attended auditions and callbacks, memorized their lines and music, and staged the entire show!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Catch Me if You Can! We are so proud of our singers for their hard work and beautiful performances! 🌟💙

A Summer Postcard from Reagan! 🧑‍🩰🌟

This summer, Reagan is moving to New York City to start her new job as a dancer at the Metropolitan Opera! We are thrilled for Reagan and are cheering her on during this exciting new adventure.

Receiving a contract from the Metropolitan Opera is a truly remarkable achievement. The competition for dancers auditioning at the Met is intense. Dancers must be well versed in a variety of styles including ballet, character, contemporary, jazz and more. Hundreds of dancers apply and only a select few are invited to join the company. Reagan stood out among talented dancers from all around the world and was offered a position at this world-famous company.

Congratulations Reagan, we are so excited for you! 💙

Musical Theatre Acting with Abby is returning this Fall! 🎭🌟

Starting in October, Abby is offering two exciting acting classes for teens and pre-teens. In these personalized small group classes, students will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of Broadway’s premiere singing actors. Through individual song coaching, students will develop their storytelling skills and uncover richer dramatic choices in their performances.

Two class options are available for Musical Theatre Acting this Fall:
🎶 Musical Theatre Acting for Pre-teens
(Ages 11-13)
🎵 Musical Theatre Acting for Teens
(Ages 14-18)

Classes will be held on Sundays, 11:15am-12:30pm & 12:30pm-1:45pm ET, October 18 - November 22

New group class with Wesley this Fall: Build Your Belt 🎶🎤

This Fall, Wesley Diener is leading a vocal intensive course for singers ages 13+. This course is designed for singers looking to build a stronger belt full of confidence and power. The class is open to singers of all skill levels. Whether you’re new to voice instruction or you take weekly lessons, Wesley will coach each singer individually and share custom exercises and techniques to take your singing to the next level.

In class, Wesley will discuss the science and technique behind powerful singing for musical theatre and pop/rock styles. Through guided exercises and practical application, singers will develop greater vocal strength and stamina, increase their range, and produce a healthy, sustainable belt that will serve them for years to come.

Classes run Tuesdays, 7:00pm-8:00pm ET, September 22 - November 10

A Summer Postcard from Abby! 🌲✨

This summer, Abby starred as Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods at Saugatuck Performing Arts Center in Michigan! Saugatuck Performing Arts Center brings professional Equity level performances to Michigan and is one of the top Equity theatres in Western Michigan! Into the Woods had a fantastic run of 21 performances, and reviews lauded the “remarkable cast who gave truly fine performances”.

A Summer Postcard from Amalie! 🎶🌟

Congratulations to Amalie on another incredible summer performing at the MUNY! The MUNY is one of the country’s premier professional theaters and Amalie was just one of twelve performers across the country selected to participate in their summer intensive program. Amalie appeared onstage alongside Broadway professionals, and trained alongside them throughout the course of the intensive! Amalie had an incredible experience as a newsie and performed brilliantly. We are so proud of her hard work and dedication and are excited to see her continue to grow and shine at Penn State.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Newsies at The Virginia Theatre Festival! Newsies wrapped up a fantastic run of 12 performances this month, and we are so proud of our singers for their beautiful performances. Quinn, Priyanka, Ellie, and Mickey starred as the Brooklyn Boys and Jack starred as their fearless leader, Spot Conlon.

The Virginia Theatre Festival is a prestigious, professional regional theatre, and our singers starred alongside professional Broadway performers this summer!
