Teacher Spotlight! 🚨

This May, Wesley participated in the 2026 NATS Intern Program, where he worked closely with several Master Teachers, including Amanda Flynn, Broadway Vocal Coaching and Head of Musical Theater at Pace University. While at the program, Wesley gained valuable insight into teaching musical theatre vocal styles and left feeling inspired, energized, and excited to share his newfound knowledge with the studio! 🎶🌟

At the program Wesley participated in masterclasses, learned and developed new styles of teaching, and had in-depth conversations with teachers from around the world on how to teach vocal technique.

Only 12 voice teachers were chosen from across the country to participate in this prestigious program. Wesley’s acceptance shows his incredible promise and growing expertise as a voice teacher and pedagogue. We’re so proud of Wesley and are thrilled that he can share this invaluable experience with our students and teachers!

Reagan is new to the studio and has been singing with Wesley for the past four months. Although she's brand new to voice lessons, she has already made incredible progress as she prepares for professional musical theater auditions ahead of her move to New York City this fall.

A professional dancer in Chicago, Reagan is truly a triple-threat performer, and it's been so exciting to help her develop the vocal skills to match her outstanding dance and acting abilities.

It has been such a joy having Reagan in the studio, and we've loved watching all of her growth in just a few short months. We're especially excited to cheer her on as she heads to NYC for a truly epic, high-level contract (stay tuned for details 👀✨).

Finley has been singing with Megan for five months and we’ve loved watching her grow as a singer and performer. She has a beautiful talent, a playful sense of curiosity, and joy for singing that has led to tremendous progress in a short period of time.

We’re so happy to have Finley as a part of our studio and are excited to introduce her to you all! 🌟🎵

Meet Archie and Linus, our new studio mascots! 🐾

This winter, Abby adopted a cute Cavapoo pup named Linus, and last month, Wesley brought home a sweet Australian Shepherd named Archie!

Linus loves eating peanut butter and cheese, but also likes chomping on leaves and sticks. He’s very social and wants to be best friends with everyone he meets.

Archie is a shy (at first!) little fellow, but he loves spending time with his family and enjoys being outside in his puppy carrier. He’s learning how to take naps and is slowly meeting new friends and coming out of his shell!

Both pups are settling into their new homes nicely and are already getting used to the sounds of singing and music lessons. We can’t wait to share more puppy photos with you soon! 🐶🎶💙

Final days to register for the 2026 Studio-Wide Spring Recital! 🎶🌸

We can’t wait to see you on June 7 at 12pm ET at the 2026 Spring Recital! This event is our way of celebrating the end of another academic year together. We encourage all of you to come and share what you’ve been working on this year with the rest of the studio.

The recital is online and open to the public, so you can invite your friends and family to watch, too! Registration closes on Friday, but if you need more time to pick your song, that’s ok. Just let your studio teacher know you are interested in performing!

Congratulations to Core Program singer Amalie on joining Penn State’s iconic BFA Musical Theatre program! 💙🤍

Amalie is joining the class of 2030 at Penn State where she will pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre. The Musical Theatre degree at Penn State is a selective degree program, offering admission to only 12 students per academic year. Amalie shined during the application and audition process and was granted admission to the highly competitive program, where she’ll spend the next four years continuing to refine and polish her artistry.

The musical theatre degree program at Penn State is an intensive pre-professional training program that offers specialized training in singing, acting, and dancing. During her time at Penn State, Amalie will perform in new musicals written specifically for her and her classmates, perform in countless musical theatre productions, and participate in masterclasses led by industry professionals.

We’re so proud of Amalie and are thrilled that she has such an exciting four years ahead of her. Way to go, Amalie! 🌟🎶

We’re so grateful for the moms of WD Studio. We’re inspired every day by the mothers who pursue their artistic passions and take lessons here at the studio.

We’re equally inspired by and grateful for the mothers who see their children’s passion for the arts and encourage and support that passion. Without moms in the wings cheering us on, we don’t know where we would be. Your care and love is seen, and we’re so joyful that we have moms like you in our lives.

Congratulations to Core Program singer, Charlotte, on her commitment to Penn State! 💙🤍

This Fall, Charlotte will join the class of 2030 at Penn State where she will pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. The BFA acting program is highly selective, admitting only 12 - 18 students per academic year. Charlotte’s admission to this prestigious degree program is a testament to her hard work and commitment to her artistry.

At Penn State, Charlotte will have performance opportunities on stage, in student films, faculty project productions, graduate student productions, and more! She will study a multitude of acting methods including Meisner, Checkhov, Lecoq, Fitzmaurice, and Bartinieff/Laban. Charlotte will also have the incredible opportunity to travel to Theatre Academy London where she will study original theatre-making and Shakespeare.

We are so proud of Charlotte and are excited for the thrilling four years ahead of her at Penn State. Way to go, Charlotte! 🌟🎭
