Kidz Korner Learning Center Small based in home child care center Kidz Korner was established in 2012 to serve families in and around the Mississippi area. High quality and affordable.

Our center is a family owned and operated facility. We offer child care service to children and their families from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. Who said education had to be expensive? Our motto is " Arrive as strangers, leave as family". We are proud to offer small children a wide variety of education that will have them two years or more above their educational age level.

It is with a heavy and broken heart that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our precious KKLC parents, Kristen Warren.

Kristin was a loving wife to Anthony and a devoted mother of two beautiful children. She was truly one of the sweetest, most giving women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and beautiful heart touched everyone around her.

This loss has come as such a shock, and honestly, we are still in disbelief. There are no words that can truly express how deeply she will be missed. Kristen was more than a parent at Kidz Korner Learning Center; she was a part of our KKLC family, and her absence will be felt deeply.

Please keep Anthony, their children, and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. May God provide them with the strength, comfort, and peace they need in the days ahead.

Kristen, you will truly be missed, and your beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. ❤️

Red Ribbon Week Dress-Up Days
October 26-30,2026

Monday: “Round Up the Red Ribbon” — Western Day
Cowboy hats, boots, bandanas, plaid, denim, overalls and cow-print.

Tuesday: “Heroes Choose to Be Drug-Free” — Marvel/Superhero Day
Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain Marvel and more.

Wednesday: “Camo Against Drugs” — Camo Day
Camo shirts, pants, hats and accessories.
“We’re on a mission to stay drug-free!”

Thursday: “Red Ribbon Rockstars” — Wear Red Day
Red shirts, tutus, bows, sunglasses, sneakers and anything fun and red.

👻 Friday: “Too Cool for Drugs” — Costume Day
Let the children dress as their favorite age-appropriate character, superhero, princess, animal, community helper or other fun costume.
Add a red ribbon to their costume to keep the Red Ribbon theme going!

Learning Through Creativity at Kidz Korner!

Today, our little learners had fun creating with tissue paper, glue, and their own imaginations!

This simple activity helps children develop important skills such as:

• Fine motor skills through tearing, pinching, and gluing
• Hand-eye coordination as they place materials where they belong
• Following directions and completing a task
• Creativity and self-expression
• Focus, patience, and independence

At Kidz Korner, we believe learning doesn’t always look like sitting at a desk. Sometimes, the best learning happens when little hands are busy creating!
