Highlight of the Week (October 5 - 9, 2026): Fall Friday Art Activity

Our little artists had a FUNtastic time exploring the colors and shapes of fall. The children collected leaves, carefully dried them with paper towels, and arranged them on adhesive, pre-cut paper pumpkins. We then laminated their beautiful fall creations!

A fun, hands-on activity that encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration!

Highlight of the Week (September 28 - October 2, 2026): Letter Bb

We wrapped up our alphabet unit learning fun with a fun, hands-on activity! Our little learners created a bear - an animal that that begins with the letter Bb!

Through this activity, the children practiced recognizing the letter, making the /b/ sound, and connecting the letter to a familiar word or picture: B is for bear!

Learning is always more meaningful when little hands are busy creating, exploring, and having FUN!

Highlight of the Week (September 21 - 25, 2026): Welcome Back Ms. Emily!
We were pleased to welcome Ms. Emily back for music this week. The children enjoyed exploring rhythm, making music, and demonstrating their drumming skills. Their enthusiasm and energy created a positive atmosphere.
We look forward to more enjoyable learning experiences and musical memories with Ms. Emily.

Highlight of the Week (September 14 - 18, 2026): All About Me!
Our All About Me unit was especially meaningful this week. The children began adding details to their life-size body cutouts using creativity to represent themselves and highlight their unique quantities. This hands-on activity promoted self-awareness, creativity, fine-motor skills, and thoughtful conversations about identity.
We enjoyed celebrating each child's individuality. ❤️

Highlight of the Week (September 7 - 11, 2026): Caring is Sharing!

This week, we are especially grateful to a family who generously donated toys their child no longer uses.

The children are excited to explore these new additions. One toy has quickly become a favorite, and the children are practicing patience, sharing, and taking turns as they play.

We sincerely appreciate our families' generosity and the many ways you support our learners. It takes a village, and we are grateful for ours.

Highlight of the Week (August 31 - September 4, 2026): Clay Gallery Unit

Our children explored clay in August. They did this through texture tiles, nature prints, colorful pinch pots, and faces or creatures. Each activity encouraged creativity, sensory exploration, fine motor skills, and imagination.

On Friday parents viewed and enjoyed the clay art work of our children as they moved through the gallery walk. Each piece of the children’s work demonstrated their unique ideas and hands-on exploration.

Birthday Celebrations- we celebrated Zane. Happy birthday Zane!

Highlight of the Week (August 24 - 29, 2026): Moving Up Ceremony!!!

What a special and memorable week we had. This week was filled with celebrations, music, birthdays, and some very proud moments!

Moving Up Ceremony: A huge congratulations to our amazing graduates - Jett is moving on to kindergarten! We are so proud of you and excited for your next big adventure.
- Isabella is moving on to pre-k! We know you are going to continue learning, growing, and shining.

Watching our little learners grow and reach these milestones is truly bittersweet. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and grateful to have been a part of their journey.

Music with Ms. Emily - We wrapped up our music program with Ms. Emily. The children had a wonderful time singing, moving, exploring instruments, and making music together. A special thank you to Ms. Emily for bringing so much music, movement and fun to our kids.

Birthday Celebrations- we had even more reasons to celebrate as we wished Jett, Isabella, and Maiella happy birthdays.

It was truly a week full of BIG milestones, BIG smiles, and BIG beautiful memories.

Highlight of the Week (August 17 - 21, 2026): Clay=Little Hands, Big Creativity!

JACER’S artists have been having so much fun, exploring CLAY! This week, the children had the exciting opportunity to work with Clay and experience, using a clay wheel to create their very own beautiful pieces.

They squished, squeezed, rolled, shaped, molded, and experimented as they watched the clay transform right beneath their hands. Using the clay wheel was especially exciting as the children practiced patients, concentration, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills while bringing their ideas to life.

Every piece was different, every creation was special, and every little artist was proud of what they made. They each got messy, as they learned through hands-on experiences.

Highlight of the Week (August 10 - 14, 2026): Music With Ms. Emily Emily Music For Kids

Our little learners had another fun-filled music session with Ms. Emily. They enjoyed singing, moving, dancing, and exploring different instruments while learning through music.

Music is so much more than fun - it supports language development, listening skills, coordination, creativity, self-expression, and social-emotional growth. It is a pleasure to see the children participate, follow the rhythm, and express themselves to movement and sound.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Miss Emily for continuing to bring so much energy, joy, and music into our space! Their smiles say it all!
