Highlight of the Week (August 17 - 21, 2026): Clay=Little Hands, Big Creativity!

JACER’S artists have been having so much fun, exploring CLAY! This week, the children had the exciting opportunity to work with Clay and experience, using a clay wheel to create their very own beautiful pieces.

They squished, squeezed, rolled, shaped, molded, and experimented as they watched the clay transform right beneath their hands. Using the clay wheel was especially exciting as the children practiced patients, concentration, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills while bringing their ideas to life.

Every piece was different, every creation was special, and every little artist was proud of what they made. They each got messy, as they learned through hands-on experiences.

Highlight of the Week (August 10 - 14, 2026): Music With Ms. Emily Emily Music For Kids

Our little learners had another fun-filled music session with Ms. Emily. They enjoyed singing, moving, dancing, and exploring different instruments while learning through music.

Music is so much more than fun - it supports language development, listening skills, coordination, creativity, self-expression, and social-emotional growth. It is a pleasure to see the children participate, follow the rhythm, and express themselves to movement and sound.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Miss Emily for continuing to bring so much energy, joy, and music into our space! Their smiles say it all!

Highlight of the Week (August 3 - 7, 2026): Clay Art Unit

We officially began our Clay Art Unit, and the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring colorful clay. They experimented with different techniques and discovered a variety of textures. It was rewarding to see their creativity and curiosity in action during this hands-on activity.
We look forward to building on their clay skills in the coming weeks and eager to see what our young artists will create.

Highlight of the Week (July 27-31, 2026): What an Amazing Field Day!

Our children had an incredible time, participating in fun, active games building, teamwork, surpassing obstacles, and making lasting memories. Their smiles and laughter said it all!

A very special THANK YOU to Ms. Tracy for setting up all of the exciting Field Day activities. Your time, creativity, and dedication made this event a huge success.

Thank you to our wonderful parents and families who came out to support us, cheer on the children, and join in the fun. Your participation made the day even more special for a little ones.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing JACER team - G-ma, Ms. Angela, and Mr. Danny - for all of your hard work and support

We also appreciate our special JACER visitors, Ariel and Noa, for spending the day with us and helping make it memorable.

Highlight of the Week (July 6 - 10, 2026): Preparing for Field Day

This week, the children practiced important gross motor skills through fun outdoor activities like hula hoop running, Simon Says, and Freeze Dance. They built strength, balance, coordination, and confidence.

Highlight of the Week (June 29 - July 3, 2026): End of Unit/Happy 4th of July

What an exciting week! We wrapped up our “Up, Up, and Away! Summer Adventure Around the World” unit after traveling to amazing countries, learning about different cultures, music, foods, and traditions along the way. What a wonderful journey it has been!

We also welcomed Ms. Emily, who filled our classroom with music, movement, singing, and smiles. The children had an incredible time dancing, playing instruments, and making joyful memories together!

As we celebrate Independence Day, we wish all of our daycare families a safe, happy, and fun-filled 4th of July!

Highlight of the Week (June 22 - 26, 2026): Up, Up, and Away! Summer Adventure Around the World

Our little travelers continued their exciting journey around the world with stops in Italy and Colombia. The children sailed on boats through the waters of Italy, explored the beautiful sites in Colombia, and discovered what makes each country so special.

Of course, no adventure would be complete without music and movement! We danced to Italian and Colombian music, celebrating the culture while having so much fun together.

Learning through play, movement, and imagination helps or children discover the amazing world around them - one country at a time!

A father’s love is felt in the little things - the encouraging words, the playful moments, the steady hands, and the quiet sacrifices made every day.

Today we celebrate the fathers, the stepfathers, the grandfathers, and the father-figures, whose love, patience, laughter, and guidance help children grow into confident, kind, and capable individuals. Your presence matters more than words can express.
