Parents and guardians, please take a few minutes this weekend to review our Student Dress Code, especially the hair guidelines:

Boys
Hair must meet district length requirements:
• Above the eyebrows
• Above the middle of the ear
• Above the collar of a standard T-shirt

Girls
Natural hair colors only. Unnatural hair colors, including but not limited to green or blue, are not allowed.

Let’s start the year looking sharp and ready to learn! Thank you for helping us maintain a positive, distraction-free learning environment.

BHS is an A campus in the State of Texas! Congrats to everyone!

There is a LOT to celebrate at Brazos ISD! ❤️🖤
These results speak for themselves, and when you look at accountability results across our area, Brazos ISD has every reason to stand incredibly proud. Our Cougars continue to demonstrate that the size of a district has absolutely nothing to do with the size of its success.
Across all three campuses, our students are achieving, growing, closing gaps, and preparing for what comes next. Our results place Brazos above some of the strongest-performing schools in our area, and that is something worth celebrating!
That kind of success doesn’t happen by accident. It represents incredible students, dedicated teachers and staff, strong campus leadership, supportive families, and a community that believes in its schools.
And a special thank you to our Brazos ISD Board of Trustees for their continued leadership, support, and commitment to our students and staff. Their decisions and dedication help provide our campuses with the resources, support, and direction needed to keep moving Brazos forward.
Brazos is making its mark.

📣 Cougar Nation, let’s keep our stands BRAZOS PROUD! ❤️🖤🐾

A new Texas law, SB 2929, the “Safe Stands Act,” is now in effect and gives officials at school athletic events, including school administrators, greater authority to address inappropriate spectator behavior.

We LOVE passionate fans. We WANT you to be loud. We WANT packed stands and lots of Cougar pride! But at the end of the day, these events are about our students. We expect everyone in attendance to treat our athletes, coaches, opponents, officials, administrators, and one another with respect.

Under SB 2929, spectators may be removed from an athletic event for inappropriate behavior without first receiving a warning.

So bring the energy, wear your RED & BLACK, cheer loudly, and help us model the kind of sportsmanship we expect from our students.

Be loud. Be proud. Be positive. Be BRAZOS PROUD! ❤️🖤🐾

🎒🛍️ Back to school shopping is in full swing! Before you check out with those new school clothes, take just a minute to look over the Brazos ISD Dress Code Flyer.

A quick look now can save you a trip back to the store later. We want everyone to start the school year feeling confident and ready to learn.

One reminder is our dress code doesn’t only apply during the school day. It also applies anytime students are on Brazos ISD property or attending a Brazos ISD sponsored event, including athletic events, performances, and other school activities.

If you have any questions before you buy, please reach out to your student’s campus. We’re always happy to help.
