Brian Sarfo ’13 has taken quite the journey since his days at the school upon the hillside — from student, to educator, to attorney, and now serving as an attorney with the New York City Council’s Finance Division.

Along the way, Brian has kept one thing at the center of his work: investing in communities and helping the next generation see what’s possible.

From sitting in the audience to taking the podium. Talk about a full-circle moment. 🐗
This week, Will Gilyard ’98 gave his first Convocation address as Head of Student and Academic Life. The next generation of Choate Rosemary Hall students couldn't be in more caring and capable hands.

A beautiful evening, great conversations, and new connections.

Last week, Choate alumni from across the Washington, D.C., area gathered on the rooftop at 655 15th Street NW for an evening of networking with fellow alumni spanning a wide range of class years. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, exchange ideas, and strengthen the Choate community in the nation's capital.

A special thank you to AAEC President David Javdan '86 for hosting and for reminding us that the best networking happens when the conversation continues long after the event is over.

We're also grateful to Ashley Hurt Callen '95, Dan Chang '93 P'26 P'29, Tillie Fowler '92, Laura Rawlings '82, and Ian Silvers '14 for sharing their career insights and advice with fellow alumni throughout the evening.

Want to keep building your Choate network? Connect with fellow alumni on ChoateNexus and keep the conversations going. https://bit.ly/ChoateNexus
