Good morning. Sheehan Athletics is working on honoring the 1975-76 Girls Basketball Team on the anniverary of 50 years of winning the state title in Girls basketball. They are looking to honor the team during one of their home games in February. If anyone has any contact info on the following players. CIAC has made changes to game times for Saturday's football playoff finals.

Sheehan's game has been changed to 1:00 p.m. at Veteran's Stadium Willowbrook Park in New Britain.

On Tuesday November 25, 2025 the Sheehan Senior Girls will have their Powder Puff Motorcade with the Senior Boys giving them a send off at Sheehan. The motorcade will leave Sheehan at 5:00 p.m. Below is the route Sheehan Parents will be following with the players in the cars.
We are asking for your support. Find a place along the route to support the team. Be loud and be proud. The girls would love to see everyone cheering them on.

Sheehan Powder Puff Motorcade Route 2025

Take a Left out of Sheehan High School
At light take a Right on to Rt. 68
Take a Right on to Rt. 150
Go straight on Rt. 150 for about 2 miles
Take Right on to Masonic Ave.
At end take a Right on to the Hartford Turnpike
At next light take a Right on to Cheshire Rd.
Go straight until the Stop Sign
At Stop Sign take Right on to Parker Farms Rd.
Go straight through 2nd Stop Sign on to Hope Hill Rd.
Sheehan High will be on your Left – Return to the back parking lot

2025 Samaha and Carini Bowl Ticket Information

Game Information:

Samaha Bowl (Powderpuff): Weds, November 26th, 2:30pm @ Riccitelli Field - Sheehan

Carini Bowl (Football): Thurs, November 27th, 10:00am @ Fitzgerald Field - Lyman Hall

Ticket Prices/Information:

No ticket limits; purchase as many tickets as you would like!

Pre-Sale: Adult: $8.00; Student (6 years & older): $5.00; Senior Citizen (65 years & older): $5.00

College students are considered adults

Children ages 5 and under are free (request a child pass/ticket upon purchase)

Cash or check only (checks made payable to ‘Sheehan Athletics’)

All tickets sold at the gate (if available) on the day of either game are $10.00 (Cash only)

All money generated from ticket sales at both Sheehan and Lyman Hall is used to offset the shared operational expenses of hosting these events and is split 50/50 between the schools athletic departments
