Our childcare facility is looking for a caring, compassionate Childcare Team Member who has experience caring for children ages six weeks to five years. Candidates must be comfortable working with all ages.
This position is for an assistant / floater to provide support throughout the center.
We are looking for someone available M-F 11/11:30am - 5/5:30pm. If these hours do not work for you, please do not apply.

Responsibilities of the Child Care Assistant:
Providing care for children, such as feeding, changing diapers, and cleaning rooms and toys.
Supporting the classroom teacher in reaching the educational goals and objectives for the classroom.
Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline, as needed.
Keeping records relating to childcare.
Working with parents to help children progress towards educational and behavioral goals.
Create and maintain a fun, nurturing environment for all children enrolled in our facility
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be comfortable working with infants
Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
CPR/First Aid certification is a bonus!
Decisiveness, patience, and stamina to chase after, lift, or carry children.
Ability to pass a background check & physical exam.
Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of stages of childhood development.
Attentiveness to the needs and safety of children.
