Every year we walk to the post office to mail holiday letters (including one to the North Pole!) and to sing some holiday songs for the post office workers to thank them for all that they do - hopefully our students singing brightened the day of those waiting in a VERY long line.

💚💚This year was even better because we caught the town Grinch out causing trouble! His heart must have been a little bit bigger that day, because he helped us to cross the intersection. What an amazing town we live in! 💚💚

Another fun-filled day of learning at St. Paul’s Nursery School! Our 4-year-old class walked back over to the library today to check out their very own library books. What a big responsibility! Everyone wore our all-weather suits, but luckily we avoided any heavy rain. While at the library, we sang our Thanksgiving songs to the librarians and let them know that we are so grateful for all that they do. After looking for signs of the season on our walk back, we took advantage of the gray, cloudy day and used our light tables. This is such a peaceful way to wrap up our week! We hope that everyone enjoys their weekend!

What a busy time of year the fall is for our preschoolers! Our location in the center of Wallingford provides the perfect opportunity for our 4-year-olds to learn about their community. We recently went on walking field trips to the library and the fire station. Our students learned from the firefighters that the heart of our community helpers is just that - helping! While our students may be too young to work at the police station, fire station, post office, or library, we talked about what we have to offer the town or Wallingford - our kindness, smiles, and joy. If you see us out walking (the post office is up next!), be sure to give us a beep, a wave, and a friendly "Hello!" or "Happy Holidays!".
