Our instructor team powered through six days of Swiftwater Rescue Technician training with Capital City Fire Rescue in Juneau, Alaska.

36-degree glacial rivers. Remote wilderness. Rapid river rise. None of it fazed this solid group of Alaskans.

We’re incredibly fortunate for the relationship we’ve built with CCFR, but even more grateful for the friendships that have grown over the last two seasons.

Six hard days. One incredible crew. And plenty more ahead.

Alaska, we’re just getting started.

When the rivers are low, other work finds us.

July has been spent partnering with Connecticut Department of Transportation and Rhode Island Department of Transportation supervisory personnel to strengthen water safety in the transportation work environment. Together, we’ve taken a deep dive into OSHA requirements and, more importantly, how to translate those regulations into practical, field-ready procedures that protect crews working in and around moving water.

Compliance is only the starting point. Our goal is ensuring every worker goes home safely by building training that is realistic, operationally focused, and tailored to the hazards they face every day.
