We are overjoyed to announce winning ‘Operation of the Year’ from Greenhouse Grower at Cultivate in Ohio. This award is a stunning tribute to our staff, our customers, our vendor partners, collaborators and our families who have helped support Spring Creek’s successes over the years. This is an incredible national achievement that we share with so many supporters. We are filled with an immense amount of gratitude and pride this week and we’re ready to continue raising the bar every day. Last week, Spring Creek Growers welcomed the most influential voices in our industry to the inaugural Native Plant Leadership Summit at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.

The goal was simple: bring together the organizations helping shape the future of native plants in Texas and create alignment around the opportunities and challenges ahead.

The discussions reinforced something we strongly believe—growing the native plant movement requires more than growing plants. It requires collaboration among retailers, growers, suppliers, educators, and advocates. We are grateful to the leaders from H-E-B, the Native Plant Society of Texas, the Wildflower Center, and others who contributed their perspectives and expertise throughout the day.

As native plants continue to gain momentum across Texas, we are proud to help convene these conversations and support the continued growth of our industry.

Snakes + Snow Cones! Nothing says summer in Texas quite like snow cones and snake safety training. 🐍 🍧

Today we celebrated Summer Snow Cone Employee Appreciation Friday while also taking the time for an important training session on preventing snake bites and staying safe in the field as the weather warms up.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming a great group of Tomball Memorial high school students to our nursery! 🌱

During their visit, they got a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to grow the plants you see in HEB and landscapes every day. We talked about careers in horticulture, the science of growing healthy plants, and the business side of running a commercial nursery.

From propagation and production to sales, logistics, and management, the green industry offers a wide range of opportunities for students who enjoy working with plants and being part of a growing industry.

We love sharing what we do and helping the next generation discover the many paths available in horticulture. Thanks to these students and their teachers for spending the day with us — we hope to see some future plant professionals in the group! 🌿

Our 3rd Annual Spring Creek University was all about getting closer to what matters most—our customers.

From visiting customers on live job sites to engaging our entire team around customer satisfaction, the experience reinforced how valuable firsthand insight really is.

There’s nothing better than seeing the work in action and hearing directly from the people we serve. Big thanks to our customers and staff for the time, feedback, and collaboration.
