Schultz Junior High School. Schultz Junior High School is on of eight Waller ISD's school. Within WISD, the faculty has been recognized as a leader in technology integration. SJH students take rigorous course studies in core academic subjects and participate in a balanced technology and fine arts program that includes computer applications, art, journalism, theater arts, choir, and band. SJH compe
tes in many UIL scholastic and sporting events. Academically, students can compete in events such as math skills, science skills, prose and poetry, charts, maps and graphs, to name a few. We pride ourselves on developing new programs to enhance and enrich our students academically and socially. Our “P.A.W.S.” program (Pride in Academics, Working toward Success) challenges students to put forth their best efforts in becoming life-long learners as well as active and effective) communicators. Students also have the opportunity to participate in our girls and boys athletic programs such as soccer, basketball, football, track, and volleyball. History: The building that now houses Wayne C. Schultz Junior High School was opened as Waller Junior High School in 1985. It became a middle school in 1992, and on October 11 of that year it became Wayne C. Schultz Middle School when it was dedicated to Wayne C. Schultz, a teacher and principal in Waller ISD from 1948-1983. In the Spring of 2009, Schultz Middle School is renamed to Wayne C. Schultz Junior High once again. The campus that once served 5th and 6th grades underwent a grade re-alignment at the start of the 2009-2010 school year.
