Today we had the honor of delivering coffee and cupcakes to the wonderful team at The Daycare at Pinhook, and what a joy it was!

There is something so special about getting to treat people who spend their days pouring so much love, patience, and care into the little ones in our community. Caring for children is more than a job—it’s an investment in the next generation. Every hug, every lesson, every encouraging word, and every smile helps shape the lives of these precious kids.

Watching the excitement on their faces reminded us why we wanted to do this giveaway in the first place. It wasn’t just about coffee and cupcakes—it was about saying “thank you.” Thank you for showing up every day. Thank you for loving our children. Thank you for making a difference in ways that often go unseen.

To everyone who nominated businesses, thank you for helping us celebrate the people who make Duplin County such a wonderful place to live and work. Your nominations reminded us that there are so many incredible businesses and organizations quietly serving our community every single day.

Reading through your comments has been such a blessing. It has reminded us just how special our community is. Seeing people encourage one another, celebrate local businesses, and recognize the hardworking people who serve Duplin County every day has made our hearts so incredibly happy.

I have reached out to every church I can think of in the area with this flyer, so people can vote if they feel led to. If I have overlooked any church, please contact me. My goal is to make it to San Antonio for the Finals, so I can pitch some of my songs to some of the artists that will be there, and I can’t do it without y’all! I know I have said this a lot, but thank each of you that has supported me on this journey. I never imagined I would have even made it this far or met the people I have met along the way!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME BIBLE SCHOOOOOOOLLLL?!
Come be with us beginning Sunday June 7th at 6pm and running through Thursday June 11th with commencement on Friday June 12th at 7pm. A meal will be provided each night, and there will be classes for ages 3-adult. We’ll have games, crafts, music, lessons, and of course prizes each night! Hope to see everyone there!

We want to invite Duplin County Sheriff’s Department, our various police agencies around the county, all of our county firefighters, our county EMS workers, dispatchers, nurses, and any corrections officers to join us Sunday 5/31 for a day we have set aside to honor our first responders!
