This will be my last post for the 2018-2019 school year. I’ve truly enjoyed working with you and all of your children this year. I’ve watched them cry, struggle, smile, and laugh. I’ve seen them do things they never thought possible! It has been one amazing year. They have become readers and mathematicians and helpful friends! I will sure miss these kids! Thank you for another wonderful year!! 💕

Today, the 6th graders came in to read us a story about kindness and talk about being kind. After, we enjoyed our pajamas, potato chips and our movie! Thank you to everyone for bringing in the chips. The kids were ecstatic! Tomorrow is the field trip to the zoo. Please remember to wear shoes/boots and bring a coat in case it is cool out.

Game day!!! We were lucky enough to work with the Second Graders and meet the 2nd Grade teacher for next year. They threw and caught a small soft ball, had potato sack races, and a running race. We even tried to throw cheese balls into a cup.. unsuccessfully ...but they had fun trying. Lastly, we tried to see how many cotton balls we could get into a bowl on top of their head using a spoon. They all did receive a gold medal for all of their hard work and effort!
