Registration is next week!

FAQs about registration:

Do my parents/guardian need to come?
Yes! Both the student and one parent/guardian will need to sign papers at registration.

Do you accept debit or credit cards?
For registration we only accept cash or check.

Lunch bills can be paid online by debit or credit card or you can bring a check or cash for our lunch lady at the time of registration.

What if I have more than one student? Do I need come multiple times?
No, we do not expect you to come multiple times if you have more than one student at our school. Let Mrs. Spooner know you need to pick up paperwork for all of your children at one time. Bring them all with you so they can sign paperwork too.

My child went to Silver Hills for 6th grade, do I need to make an appointment?
No. If your child finished 6th grade at our elementary school, we have their records and you just need to come to their classes registration time.

Below is an important reminder from the WSD Facility Manager.

As the Facilities Manager for Wallace School District I take a lot of pride in keeping our football field looking great and ready for the upcoming season. A lot of time and effort goes into maintaining the field, and I want to make sure it stays in the best condition possible for our students and community.

Last weekend, a couple of kids took electric dirt bikes onto the main football field and made several laps around it. Thankfully, there was no noticeable damage. Unfortunately, last night, the same kids attempted to access the field again.

I have since secured all of the gates, with the exception of the designated walk-in gate that requires you to zig-zag through the entrance area.

If you live in the Silverton area and have kids who ride electric dirt bikes or similar machines, please take a moment to talk with them about staying off the football field. I completely understand that kids want a place to ride and have fun, and this isn't about getting anyone in trouble. I simply need everyone to understand that the football field isn't an appropriate place for these machines.

If it happens again, I may have no choice but to completely restrict access to the field for everyone, and I really don't want it to come to that.

Thank you to everyone for understanding and helping us take care of a facility that belongs to our students and our community.

Wallace Swim Club will not have a season this year unless a volunteer coach becomes available. Unfortunately, there is no funding for this extracurricular outside of transportation, and the program has relied on volunteer coaches in the past. At this time, there has been little to no interest in coaching. Without an adult coach, the swim club cannot operate. Please contact the District Office for more information. 208-753-4515
