This week, the governor and state leaders visited WWCC for an update on the regional wildfire response.

Our campus is honored to serve as a temporary home base for the firefighters and first responders working tirelessly to protect our communities.

To every crew member on the front lines: thank you for your courage, dedication and service. 🖤💛

🦫🌿 Photo Finish Friday: A new addition to Titus Creek!

WWCC recently partnered with the Greater Hells Canyon Council, Facility Services and the Water & Environmental Center to install a new beaver pond leveler, sometimes called a “beaver deceiver,” along Titus Creek.

This is the second pond leveler installed along the creek in recent months as part of an approved Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife strategy to sustainably manage beaver impacts while finding ways to coexist with our wildlife neighbors.

Curious to see it for yourself? Stop by the Titus Creek footbridge next time you’re on campus!
