Walla Walla Public Schools Continues to Provide Most School Supplies for 2025-2026 School Year.
Walla Walla Public Schools is committed to supporting families by continuing to provide the majority of school and classroom supplies for all students during the 2025-2026 school year. This districtwide initiative helps reduce back-to-school costs and ensures every student is equipped with the tools they need to succeed.
For elementary students, there is no expectation that families purchase specific supplies, cleaning or hygiene products, or other classroom materials. At the middle and high school levels, students are asked to bring only a few essential personal items to supplement the supplies provided by the district.
Below is a summary of what is provided by the district and what families are asked to supply:
Preschool / Head Start
• District Provides: All school supplies (e.g., pens, pencils, markers/crayons, glue, tissue, and other classroom items)
Transitional Kindergarten – Grade 5
• District Provides: All school supplies (e.g., pens, pencils, markers/crayons, glue, tissue, and other classroom items)
• Families Provide: Backpack
Middle School / High School
• District Provides: Composition notebooks
• Families Provide: 3-ring binder with loose-leaf paper, writing utensils (pencils/pens), and a backpack
