From Sharon's Daughter

Sharon Lucille (Hutton) Coupland, 70, of Grants Pass, OR, peacefully fell asleep in Jesus, and is now awaiting the resurrection. She passed on July 21, 2026 in her home surrounded by family. She was born in Brawley, CA August 15, 1955 to Ward and Barbara Hutton, the oldest of four children. She trained as a nurse but spent her best years being wife to Murray Coupland and mother to her two daughters. She loved serving the Lord through youth ministry, playing the piano and sharing her many talents where she could. She is survived by her husband, her children, Heidi (Ed) Nelson and Karla (Adam) Ricci and two grandchildren, Darci Nelson (8) and Theo Ricci (0), and her three siblings. A memorial service will be held at the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist church on her 71st birthday, August 15, 2026 at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please send money to the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church with a note to Sharon Coupland’s Memorial. These funds will go to support the Pathfinder Club she led for years.

Sad news to share with you about our Classmate Murray.
Murray Copeland's (Class of 1975) wife Sharon passed away this week (Wednesday) after battling pancreatic cancer they thought they'd beat😢!

They are having her funeral August 15th (her birthday) at the Grants Pass SDA church in the afternoon probably 2'sh.

From Murray:

We have two daughters Heidi and her husband, Ed and daughter Darcy. Our other daughter Karla, and her husband Adam and their son Theo.

Sharon passed away on July 21st, 6 o’clock at night from pancreatic cancer.
