The American Association of University Women-Walla Walla Branch set a new record by awarding scholarships to 26 local women for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The BMCF team rolled up our sleeves in honor of America's 250th birthday Day of Service —sorting donations and assembling care packages that Hope Heals Walla Walla delivered the very next day! We're proud to be part of our community and a nationwide movement to make this milestone a day of action, generosity, and community spirit.

One of BMCF’s office dogs, Pepper, is hard at work getting ready to help send two very important boxes: 523 scholarship award letters heading out to 390 students across our region!

Thanks to generous donors, we are sending $1,190,595 in scholarships to students from Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield, and Umatilla counties—plus Prosser, Washington and Weston, Missouri, through the Prosser and Lamar scholarships.

Wherever these students are headed next, we are proud to be part of the journey!
