🎨We are so happy to start art classes in Prescott, Milton-Freewater, Dayton, Starbuck, Athena and Walla Walla this September!
With Picture Lab, students will explore new art materials and techniques throughout this school year and learn about many different artists and art styles.
To start this year, we are working on blind contour drawing and learning how to embrace mistakes, or what American painter Bob Ross calls, “Happy Accidents”.
Students then can transform their happy accidents or unexpected artwork into something new, exploring their creativity.
This school year will bring lots of fun activities, artful thinking, and creativity to the children in the Walla Walla Valley. We’re excited to see what kinds of art will emerge.

🎨 A Year Full of Art at Prescott, Milton-Freewater, Dayton, Starbuck, Athena and Walla Walla! 🎨
We’re so grateful to the public schools for giving us the opportunity to bring art into every classroom this year!
Through Picture Lab, students enjoyed monthly art lessons where they explored inspiring artists, discovered new techniques, and developed their creativity.
We kicked off the year by drawing what inspires us, then moved into self-portraits, collage-making, and many other exciting projects—ending with students designing and building their own architectural models!
It has been an incredible year of creativity, expression, and growth. We can’t wait to see how students continue to explore and experiment with art in the future! Have a great summer and see you next year!
