ATTENTION
Walla Walla Community College has been notified by Instructure, the company that operates Canvas, that an unauthorized third party obtained data associated with our Canvas environment.
The data involved may include personal information; however, Instructure has not yet provided the exact data elements or affected user count for our college. Instructure has reported no indication that passwords, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, or financial account information were involved.
Please do not log in to Canvas at this time until you hear directly from the college that it is okay to do so.
As a good general safety practice, please use caution if you receive unexpected messages or links. If something appears suspicious, contact the WWCC Help Desk or IT Support.
Additional information has been sent to college email accounts.
