Today, our students and faculty showed up in a sea of green to stand alongside the McCray family. We know many of our surrounding schools, businesses, and community members have also worn green today to show their support.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own, Rhyder McCray. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones as they navigate this unimaginable loss and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Our staff will continue to provide guidance, care, and support for our students as they navigate the days ahead. Rhyder will forever be a part of the Wall Hawk family.

FIRST FULL WEEK BACK, HAWKS!

We’re officially getting into the swing of things, and WOW...this week is packed full of activities across WISD! Volleyball, team tennis, football, cross country, and our FIRST PEP RALLY of the year with the theme “HAWKS GOT GAME!” 🏐🎾🏈🏃‍♀️📣

And while the fun is kicking into high gear, we know the first full week comes with a lot of adjusting, too. New teachers, new classrooms, learning classroom rules and expectations, figuring out policies and procedures, finding your way to each class, AND beginning-of-the-year testing… that’s a lot to take on! 💪

But Hawks, WE GOT THIS! 🙌 Take it one class, one day, and one challenge at a time. Show up, stay positive, and ask questions! It's going to be a great year!

Let’s tackle every challenge that comes our way, give our best effort, and keep pushing forward0-the Wall Hawk way!

Good luck in day 2, Lady Hawks!!

Lady Hawk Volleyball is well underway, and it’s tournament season!!

The Lady Hawks had a great Day 1 at the Nita Vannoy Tournament in San Angelo! Both Varsity and JV went 3-0, didn’t drop a single set, and advanced to the Gold Division!

🏐 Varsity: 9:00 AM at Central
🏐 JV: 10:00 AM at Central

It’s a local tournament, so make the easy drive over to San Angelo and come support our Lady Hawks!

If you haven’t already, log in to Parent Portal and follow the steps to update your information, answer the few required questions, and upload your proof of residency/verification. Once you submit everything, you’re done!

What a great first day, Hawks! As we kick off the new school year, we want to make sure families are ready to stay connected with their child’s school and teachers through the Wall ISD app.

Rooms will be our platform for parent-to-teacher communication throughout the school year. It will also be a resource for our administrative staff to share important announcements and information with families.

Here’s how to get started:

Download the Wall ISD app
Tap “Rooms” at the bottom of the screen
Log in using the same phone number or email address you used for Parent Portal registration
Once logged in, you’ll see the Rooms and groups available to you

Community and tradition are what Wall ISD is all about!

Before we kick off another school year, our Wall ISD family gathered together for lunch hosted by Wall Brethren Church.

We’re so thankful for our Wall students and community members who came together to help serve the meal and for the continued support that makes traditions like this so special.
