Hawks Wear Green 💚

Tomorrow, we’re asking our Hawk Family to wear green as a gesture of love and support for Rhyder’s family and friends.

Join us in showing Rhyder’s family that they are in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate the unimaginable. We’re also grateful to our neighboring schools who are joining us and wearing green alongside our Hawks.

Wall Middle School Family:

We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own, Rhyder McCray. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones as they navigate this unimaginable loss and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Our staff will continue to provide guidance, care, and support for our students as they navigate the days ahead. Rhyder will forever be a part of the Wall Hawk family.

FIRST FULL WEEK BACK, HAWKS!

We’re officially getting into the swing of things, and WOW...this week is packed full of activities across WISD! Volleyball, team tennis, football, cross country, and our FIRST PEP RALLY of the year with the theme “HAWKS GOT GAME!” 🏐🎾🏈🏃‍♀️📣

And while the fun is kicking into high gear, we know the first full week comes with a lot of adjusting, too. New teachers, new classrooms, learning classroom rules and expectations, figuring out policies and procedures, finding your way to each class, AND beginning-of-the-year testing… that’s a lot to take on! 💪

But Hawks, WE GOT THIS! 🙌 Take it one class, one day, and one challenge at a time. Show up, stay positive, and ask questions! It's going to be a great year!

Let’s tackle every challenge that comes our way, give our best effort, and keep pushing forward0-the Wall Hawk way!

📣 MEET THE HAWKS IS THIS THURSDAY!

Come out Thursday, August 20th, for our Football Scrimmage vs. Grape Creek and help us kick off the fall sports season!

We’ll be introducing and recognizing Football, Volleyball, Cheer, Cross Country, and Band throughout the evening as the football scrimmages take place!

🏈 9th Grade/JV Scrimmage vs. Grape Creek: 6:00 PM
🏈 Varsity Scrimmage vs. Grape Creek: 7:30 PM

🛍️ The Athletic Booster Club will also be set up selling Hawk merch! Every purchase helps directly support our student-athletes!

Come out and support our Hawks and Lady Hawks as we kick off the year!
