Meet the teachers!

(Well the cartoon version 😂)

Miss Korra and Mrs. Lyssa

Korra and I have been working at the childcare facility for almost 4 years! It started out as me wanting to get back into childcare after having my son. Then we needed help and Korra was needing a summer job. Well that summer job has turned into her being my second hand man!

Together we provide a safe, educational and structured environment for our kiddos! Together we have had 15 babies and over 30 kids that have come into our care! It’s crazy to think the crazy journey we’ve had over the last 4 years!

We also have a part time teacher, Miss Ruth! She helps us in the morning and is a big help!

Did you know we offer kindergarten prep?

We follow a curriculum that we teach to our 3-6 year olds!

Heres what it entails:
-fun lesson plans with themes
-learn to write our names
-counting 1-20
- A through Z
-shapes
-colors
-graphing

And much more!

We do kindergarten readiness with our 3-6 year olds, our lesson plans included literacy, number and letter recognition, STEM, physical development and we do fun creative activities!

We work on number recognition, shapes and colors with our 1-3 year olds!

It was Ocean Week!

The kids had fun learning about all the different sea life! We had so much fun!!

What a great opening week! We kicked off the start of Buzy Beez learning about Bees!! The kids had so much fun! We learned the life cycle of the bee, learned how bees work together to make their hive! Also they presented to be Bees and “pollinated”!

Welcome to the Buzy Beez Page!

A little bit about myself,
My name is Elyssa Griffee. My facility is state certified! My teachers and I are CPR/first aid certified and are cleared on background checks, finger prints and the sec offenders registry.

Our facility is a place where kids feel welcome and appreciated! We follow the federal food program, which makes sure kids get the proper amount of grain, dairy, fruits and vegetables! We also have different themed lessons plans every week and help kids get ready for Kindergarten! For our curriculum we focus on STEM, language/literature development, physical development and creative activities!
