Today staff dug into some Professional Development around culture and values and how that translates to the learning environment. We worked through varied learning tasks and station activities to build understanding around what is commitment or engagement versus compliance. We also reflected on whether our grading and assessment strategies were geared more for compliance or more for learning.

I want to personally welcome each of our kids, parents, and community friends to our open house at 4 pm tomorrow. We have Tom Cody, a topnotch speaker and trainer from Top 20, coming to share with us after a full afternoon of training our staff. We are excited to have everyone be a part of our learning!

Dr. Doug must attend a mandatory Regional music meeting so he put together the video linked here where he talks about music classes and the Fall musical production Lion King.

We Have Extra Peaches of all sizes and Honey and Salsa available. Pickup up this morning: 8-11 am at CTE shop. If you ordered peaches this spring and didn't come yesterday, please come pick them up this morning! Peaches are on their way. Music Students and other individual orders: Please plan to pick up peaches at our Wall CTE shop on Thursday, August 20 between 2-5 pm or Friday, August 21 from 8-11 am. We do have some extra peaches, salsa, and honey for purchase. Thank you for supporting Wall Eagles!
