What's wrong with Nicole? 8th grade scientists spent last week working as doctors and researchers in their quest to discover what happened to their patient, Nicole. Students were given symptoms and they worked through their knowledge of bacterial and viral infection to prescribe accurate treatments for Nicole.

🍊 Orange you glad we CRUSHED the first quarter?! 🍊

Friday officially marks the end of the first quarter, but we started celebrating a little early at today’s staff meeting! Our staff enjoyed some orange-themed treats as we took time to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments that have made this such a strong start to the year.

We also unveiled a special banner highlighting what Walkertown Middle School accomplished in 2025–2026 — exceeding growth, achieving the highest growth in the district, and ranking in the top 1% for growth in the state! 🎉🐺

These results represent the commitment of our students, staff, families, and entire school community. We are incredibly proud of where we’ve been — and even more excited about where we’re headed.

One quarter down. Let’s keep CRUSHING it, Wolfpack! ❤️🖤🐺
