⭐️ New Online Athletic Registration (OAR) Process for FCPS Athletics ⭐️
FCPS is excited to announce that we are now offering the convenience of online athletic registration through FamilyID, formerly known as SchoolToday, which is now part of Arbiter Sports family!
Arbiter Registration is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through Arbiter Registration, the system keeps track of your information in your profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.
Any high school student, grade 9-12, must register before participating in high school athletics.
BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
To participate in school sports activities, students must submit verification of a medical examination dated April 1 or after for each academic year of participation. Physicals must be turned in at the school to the Athletic Director or Head Coach. Please keep a copy for yourself.
Student physical examinations cover one school year only.
FCPS requires that a student shall be examined and certified as being physically fit to participate in any tryout, practice or contest of a school team.
This examination shall be performed by a licensed physician, certified physician assistant under the supervision of a licensed physician or a certified nurse practitioner.
Note: It is recommended that the sports physical should not take the place of a student’s annual physical examination with their primary care doctor as stated by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:
It will be helpful to have the following information handy to allow for the accurate completion of your online registration: Doctor information, Dental Information, Health Insurance Information, Student ID
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Registration links are provided for each school on FCPS High School Athletic Programs and are available approximately 6 weeks before the start of each season. Each high school has a registration link listed on their information tab: https://fcps.ss5.sharpschool.com/athletics/high_school_programs
