Looking for a hands-on learning community for your early elementary schooler?

We still have a few spots available! We provide engaging instruction in language arts, history, science, and enriching electives—all while mapping out your child’s learning for the week. That means less planning stress for you and more meaningful, structured learning for them.

Our 2nd and 3rd graders have had a blast with our 3 Little Pigs unit study! We've compared and contrasted multiple versions of the story, enjoyed STEM challenges (read the photo captions), and are ready to shine in our reader's theater performance at Signature's Talent Show.

Signature still has openings for Kindergarten through 4th grade next year (our 5th through 8th grade classes are full).

We hosted 7 families at yesterday's Open House! It's not too late for YOU to learn more about the hands-on learning that happens at Signature.

Open Houses will be offered on 3/31 and 4/14 at 11:00 at Fredericktowne Baptist Church. RSVP to [email protected].

Our first Open House will be held this coming Tuesday, March 24th at 11:00 at Fredericktowne Baptist Church.

It's not too late to learn all about our co-op, but you must RSVP to [email protected] before attending.

Additional Open Houses will be held on March 31st and April 14th.

Exciting news! Kindergarten is coming!

Signature Homeschool Academy will offer a kindergarten through 2nd grade class for the 2026-2027 school year. The classes for this group will be mainly for enrichment, with two or three days of optional homework given. The students will attend Language Arts Enrichment, Physical Education, and Science in the morning. After a lunch and recess break, they will have two classes: Let’s Explore! (a thematic units class) and Book and Cook in the fall, and Art in the spring. The classes for this age level are designed to complement and enhance the foundational reading and math skills being taught at home.

Hands-on learning isn't just for littles!

Today our 10th and 11th graders participated in a Gilded Age Dinner. Each student was assigned a historical character and assumed their identity. At the "cocktail hour" each guest shared who they were, an impactful event, their greatest achievements and a bit about their friends and enemies.

We want kids to be in awe of God’s diverse and colorful world. By exploring excellent literature, observing His providential plan throughout history, discovering the diversity of different countries and people groups, and delving deeply into the wonders of Creation through our study of science, we hope that His extravagant plan will become abundantly clear. Through group discussion, science labs, and creative projects, it is our prayer that students will come to the unmistakable conclusion that we serve an awesome God!
