Join WMAES for an afternoon of disc golf at the park on June 30th! Bring your own discs or borrow a set for $5. We will meet at 2:00 PM at the picnic tables next to the bouldering wall in Highland Park. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle. We look forward to seeing you on the course!

🗺️ WANTED: Escape Artists 🚨

Ms. Crawford's first graders officially plotted their escape from WMAES, and their underground tunnel system included taco rooms, trampolines, AND fire pits. 🌮🔥

After wrapping up a unit on location and map making, students put their skills to the very best possible use. Safe to say, these kids mastered the art of the map! 📍

🌱🍅 Mrs. Lameris’ 2nd graders got their hands dirty during our last week of school, planting tomatoes in the garden! 🧑‍🌾👩‍🌾

Come fall, those very tomatoes will become STAR ingredients in our annual Salsa-Making Spectacular! 🎉🌶️

And because they were planting pros… guess what?! They celebrated with FLUFFY PANCAKES 🥞🍁 drizzled with our VERY OWN school maple syrup. 😍

What a gorgeous, giggly, garden-filled morning with these amazing little farmers. 💚☀️
