What a wonderful evening at our Flowers for Families event!

Last night, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new Walker students and their families as they prepare to join us this fall. Families enjoyed a night filled with smiles, laughter, and hands-on fun, including a bubble machine, bucket toss game, balloon artist, clay pot painting, and planting beautiful flowers to take home.

We loved getting to know our newest Walker families and can't wait to see everyone again when the school year begins. Welcome to the Walker family!

Summer provides unique opportunities for students to explore their interests, build new skills, and continue growing through everyday experiences. With just a little intentionality, families can help set the stage for a strong start to the new school year.

👟 FREE Back-to-School Shoes for Elementary Students! 👟

For 30 years, In The Image has helped elementary students start the school year on the right foot by providing FREE brand-new athletic shoes through its SHOES (Shoes Help Our Elementary Students) Program.

📍 Location: DeVos Place
📅 Dates: August 12 & 13, 2026

This program is available to elementary students in Kent County. Students must be present to receive their new pair of shoes.

Last Thursday, Iknoor enjoyed her special day as Principal for a Day, a prize she won at our school carnival!

She had a full schedule of important leadership responsibilities, including greeting students at arrival, helping lead three Moral Focus assemblies, meeting with Ms. Rich, visiting classrooms, and even supervising recess duty. Talk about a busy day!

Thank you, Iknoor, for your enthusiasm, leadership, and positive attitude. We loved having you step into the principal role and help make the day a great one for our Wildcat community!
