Compassion in Action!

One of our 5th graders, Camden Hight, recently had surgery on his ears, requiring him to wear a headband for protection for the next few weeks. One of his classmates and his mom, our Office Administrator Mrs. Murphy, had the great idea to show him some support.

When Camden returned to school, our 5th graders wore headbands in solidarity with him. Before snapping a group photo, chants of “Camden! Camden!” could be heard from the students.

What a wonderful example of compassion, friendship, and showing up for one another!
