Registration is open for the New Teacher Experience Summer Kickoff 2026!

New teachers are invited to join us July 24 on the campus of LSU for a free day of professional learning with colleagues from across the state. Get a head start on the school year and learn more about the support we provide educators new to the profession.

Registration includes lunch and a tote bag with start-of-the-year goodies. Space is limited to 400 new teachers. Registration closes July 16 or when capacity is reached.

The LPPS Transportation Department will offer the Louisiana Department of Education School Bus Driver Training Class beginning Monday, June 1, 2026, at 8:30 AM in the Transportation Conference Room. The class will be held June 1-5 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Come work with us!
