Was a hot one, but the KMHS Band performed well and sounded great at Dousman Derby Days this morning! A big shout out to our first time marchers! Well done! What a great way to close out our band camp week! Lots of pictures here to be shared! Enjoy!

Thank you Kettle Moraine Music Parents Association (KMMPA)!! We are grateful for you!

THANKS FROM KMMPA!!! KM Music Parents Association would like to express our sincere appreciation to all those who attended music events this year and donated generously to support our outstanding KM music programs. We raised over $5500 and awarded neary $4000 in grants to music teachers. Those grants included new music for KMMS Jazz, supporting KMHS Band travel to Washington, DC for Honor Flight and transportation to music festivals where our students performed – just to name a few. Excellent news! It is with great excitement that WSMA has recognized Carli H. and Dani L. with the Exemplary Performance Recognition Award for their Flute Duet performance at State Solo and Ensemble.
The criteria include an outstanding performance at the State level, and is an amazing accomplishment. Congrats Dani and Carli!

Sharing Day 1 of our Washington DC trip. Come each day for a photo chronicle of our travels!
Day 1 had us at the National Mall with a wonderful tour guide, Donna Joy, and at a Friend's and Family only exclusive concert where we got to hear and see a concert by the Marine Bands in their Barracks. Wow, awe inspiring and moving.
