🧡🖤 THIS is how you bring a building to life! 🖤🧡

We reached out to local artist Amy Morris to add a little back-to-school magic to our front doors, and when she offered to paint the windows at our nurse’s station too, we were thrilled!

We asked her to create something that represented ALL of our students and all the things that make our Bulldogs who they are. And WOW, did she deliver! 😍

“Every Bulldog Has a Place.” 🧡🐾

We couldn’t think of a more perfect message for WMS. Every student who walks through our doors has something to contribute, something to be proud of, and a place where they belong.

These windows have completely transformed our front office hallway. They bring so much color, personality, school spirit, and LIFE into our building, and we cannot wait for our students to see them!

Amy, THANK YOU for sharing your incredible talent with our school and creating something our students, staff, families, and visitors will get to enjoy every single day. You deserve every bit of recognition for this beautiful work! 🧡🖤

💦🎉 Welcome to WMS, 5th Grade! 🎉💦

Our newest Bulldogs got to start their very first year at WMS with a well-earned Water Day! 🧡🖤 These students earned their incentive by showing growth on at least 2 out of 3 tests or performing at a Level 3 or 4 on their end-of-year ATLAS as 4th graders!

We hope they enjoyed their day of fun and celebration! We are so excited to have them at WMS and can’t wait to see all they accomplish over the next four years!

🚒💦 A HUGE Thank You to Our Fire Department! 💦🚒

We want to give a special shoutout to our amazing Fire Department for helping make our Water Day celebrations possible! 🧡

They came out to refill and clean our water slides between every group of students AND made sure each group got an extra dose of fun by spraying them down! 💦😂

We are so thankful for community partners who are always willing to show up for our kids and help us make special memories. Thank you for going above and beyond for WMS! 🧡🖤🐾

We loved welcoming our 2025–2026 8th graders back to WMS to celebrate their awesome growth at least 2/3 tests or performing at a level 3 or 4 on the end of year ATLAS! 🧡🖤

These now-FRESHMEN worked hard and earned a Water Day incentive, and we couldn’t let them move on without celebrating their success! 💦☀️

Fall School Pictures will be Wednesday, August 19! 🧡🖤

We are excited to have Sandy Tull partnering with our high school yearbook staff to take our students’ pictures this year!

There are no order forms to fill out right now. Once the pictures have been edited and are ready, Sandy will provide a website where families can view and order pictures. We will share that link as soon as it is available.

So wear those new back-to-school outfits, bring your best smile, and come picture-ready Wednesday! 📸😁

🧡🖤 We are so thankful for our community! 🖤🧡

Our WMS staff was definitely well-fed and well-loved as we prepared for a new school year! We want to give a HUGE thank you to the amazing community partners who took time to feed us, spoil us with prizes and gifts, and remind our staff just how supported we are.

We are incredibly blessed to live and work in a community that shows up for our schools in so many ways. Thank you for not only feeding us, but for showering our staff with gifts, prizes, encouragement, and support.

We appreciate each of you and are so thankful to have you as part of our WMS family! 🐾🧡🖤
